As we walked in we felt instantly calm, comfortable and relaxed, it just had that feeling.
All the staff in the Fleece are very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. I had Donna helping dress the Hadrian Suite the night before and making sure everything was perfect.
The wedding morning was so relaxed. Amid laughter and clinking glasses, my bridesmaids and I enjoyed Buck’s Fizz and music. We were lucky enough to be captured all day by our photographer, Imagery by Kerry Clarke. Our hair stylists, Georgia and Nicola from, Bow Carlisle, and makeup artist Lottie from Belle Ame Beauty, Carlisle added their magic, enhancing my beauty for the special day.
Having Chris’s cousin, Suzanne, oversee us added an extra layer of magic and meaning when our ceremony came around and made it feel truly special.
The stunning cake, lovingly made by Central Bakery, Carlisle, stole the show. My mom and myself put our hearts into all the flower arrangements and decorations, adding our personal touch to the celebration.
We loved greeting our evening guests into this beautiful hotel, we felt very special. As the sun set, our evening celebration began. Chris’s brother, Nick Irwin, took on the role of our personal DJ, and our joy resonated both indoors and outdoors, which was perfect with the warm weather. The seamless transition between spaces mirrored perfectly in the ambience.
Scott and the rest of Team Fleece orchestrated our perfect day. I truly think that they went over and above to make our wedding special to remember forever.
Our guests echoed our sentiments, all commenting on the comfort of their rooms and we all want to thank the staff for their efforts in the details and freshness of the bedrooms. The bathtub was very relaxing!
The morning after we were able to reflect on the events of the day before; it really was the best day of our lives and we were sad it was all over.
It truly was an amazing day and a 5* experience. I would highly recommend the Fleece for a wedding venue. I truly think that they went over and above to make our wedding special to remember forever.
