Recently, we had the privilege of hosting young love for Anna and Callum’s wedding. Below we had the bride reflect on her unforgettable day with us.
The warm welcome and excitement in the air was outstanding. From the moment I pulled up in to the car park the amazement began. The staff were more than welcoming and more than happy to help us where ever they could, while we were setting up the room with our decorations, they popped in to lend a hand and nothing appeared to be too much trouble.
When my bridesmaids and I entered the beautiful bridal suite we were stunned! The space in the room is unbelievable and the modern feel give it a country but new feel. We instantly felt relaxed and calm."
The buzz in the hotel from staff made the morning feel extra special. You really do feel like a princess.
The Hadrian suite was stunning, to see the space in full dress was breath-taking! The music playing in the background helped to ease the mood and maintain the relaxed feeling. The welcome drinks were a perfect touch and encouraged people to mingle straight away.
Our wedding breakfast was perfect. The waiting staff were very professional and had continuous smiles on their faces. The meal it’s self was delicious, the size of the meals was perfect and there was no long waits in between courses (amazing for when you have children).
The warm feeling of the Fleece rolled in to our evening and welcoming our evening guests to such a special, amazing place was lovely. The staff were brilliant throughout the evening reception! The bar staff being busy and still maintaining a smile. The garden area was a lovely extra with people being able to just step out the door for air while still feeling included with the inside.
A few of our guests stayed the night and we all had the luxury of going down to breakfast together to reflect on the wedding. It was made to feel like a lovely extension of the wedding rather than the morning after.
Having our wedding at The Fleece made it more special, from first meeting Scott to our day itself he could not have been more helpful. The staff throughout the hotel were always smiling and polite with “a nothing too much attitude".
