We are extremely fortunate to be located in a truly stunning, cultural and historic area of the UK. Travel in any direction from our front door and you’re in for a treat; you’ll soon stumble across lakes, woodland, fells, museums, quaint villages, beautiful coastlines, monuments that have inspired myth, legend and folklore, and architecture from centuries past.

The beauty is that all of these destinations are a short enough journey to be a day trip from your base here at the Fleece at Ruleholme. Step out on your chosen adventure by day and rejoin us in the evening for a fulfilling meal and a few drinks by the open fire.
