We’ll welcome you from 3pm on Christmas Eve. Your luggage will be taken care of while you get in the festive spirit with a glass of bubbly.
When you venture to your room you’ll find a Christmas hamper full of Cumbrian treats waiting for you on your King-size bed, comfy robes & slippers, luxury toiletries and panoramic countryside views. As the afternoon rolls on you’re welcome to join us, and other guests on our sky-lit balcony lounges for a warm mince pie and mulled wine.
In the evening you’ll have the chance to relax in our Oak Room restaurant as we serve your delicious dinner and drinks

Christmas morning will be a leisurely affair, you’re welcome to join us for a full Cumbrian breakfast and a glass of champagne from 9am. Afterwards, you can enjoy a peaceful walk in the local countryside, take a trip to the historic Irthington Church or join us in some fun games in our lounge area.
Your 5-course Christmas lunch will be served from 12pm (please book your preferred time in advance). You can expect a modern, fine dining take on the traditional Christmas menu and service. You can view the full menu here.
The afternoon and early evening are for rest and relaxation with Christmas movies, games and a few drinks from the bar. An evening buffet of turkey sandwiches, hot roasties, local cheeses, charcuterie, port and sweet treats will be available should you wish to snack at your leisure.
On Boxing Day, you can enjoy a long lie in, breakfast will be served until 11:30am and check out will be delayed until noon. You are welcome to stay another evening with us for just £100 B&B basis.
